Automotive Service Porter/Valet Job Description

The Chevrolet of Wayzata team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Porter/Valet to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of our vehicles for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our vehicle lot, including moving units as directed by sales/service managers and adhering to dealership display standards.
  • Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Assist with customer deliveries and ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
  • Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver them to storage and other dealerships, as required.
  • Perform weather-related clean-up tasks and assist with building and grounds maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to handle machinery safely and operate an automobile.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools preferred.
  • 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.
