Job Overview


This position is responsible for providing engineering expertise for network operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Transportation Security Administration (TSA) customer. As a Cybersecurity Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the F5 load balancers to ensure efficient and secure network operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the evaluation of potential Server Load Balancing products and technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Review the customer's network and practices looking for opportunities to enhance network functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Provide specifications and detail schematics for Server architecture for the enterprise.
  • Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
  • Participate in the development of documentation, including diagrams, standards, specifications, and operating procedures.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor degree and 5 years' experience or Associate degree and 7 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years' experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • Experience with network engineering and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with F5 load balancers.
  • Experience Server Load Balancing products.

What We Offer


We offer a competitive salary range of $66,000 - $106,000 based on experience and other factors. This represents the typical salary range for this position.
