Job Summary:

As a Tax Advisor with Block Advisors, you will provide expert tax planning and preparation services to clients throughout the year. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their financial goals, and develop tailored tax strategies to help them achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and developing tailored tax strategies
  • Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools, including video conferencing, phone, chat, and email
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, completing continuing education requirements and meeting all IRS and applicable state requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of tax experience, including experience completing individual tax returns and tax planning and audit support
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually, with comfort working with virtual tools
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment, with successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
