Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician III at Compunnel, you will be responsible for performing all duties in an urgent, yet safe manner. This includes repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials. You will also be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and other electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and recommend changes to proactive programs to increase machine uptime.

• Mentor junior technicians by motivating, providing guidance, and directions to help them achieve their goals.

• Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization.

• Strong demonstrated ability with understanding electrical schematics, control logic, volt and ohm meter use.

• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company and complies with all safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Two-year Technical Mechanics degree preferred.

• Six years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician.

Skills and Abilities:

• Promoting and conducting good housekeeping practices.

• Highly self-motivated, able to work independently, and customer-centric.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Ability to comply with the Meritor Drug and Alcohol policy.

• Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.

• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

• Ability to take care of customer needs while following company procedures.

• Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to Meritor values and standards.

Computer Skills:

Intermediate computer knowledge, at an intermediate level in working with Microsoft Windows to include: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
