About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Tucson, AZ. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for providing out-of-operating room intubation services, establishing and maintaining responsibility for inpatient general internal medicine services, and performing rounds on weekends.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
- Recent experience in a hospital setting, including covering inpatient units, ED, and ICU
- Certificate as an RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Computerized Patient Records System (CPRS)
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, and sitting at a desk for long periods. The ideal candidate must be able to lift light respiratory therapy instruments and supplies.
