In collaboration with the Commercial Loan Committee, the Credit Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing effective credit policies and procedures. This role involves the meticulous processing of daily credit transactions in accordance with established credit policy and procedure manuals, as well as maintaining comprehensive records and files for all credit transactions, including related correspondence and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily processing of credit transactions; conduct preliminary credit analysis to assess eligibility based on current policies and procedures; prepare and manage documentation for credit transactions, including financial spreading and analysis, among other essential tasks.
  • Educate and support Credit Union Members and team members regarding credit policies, procedures, and guidelines; generate reports and additional information as required.
  • Monitor requests and their statuses as necessary.
  • Present findings to the Loan Committee as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree

- Proficiency in standard computer operating software, including Word, Excel, and Access

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Exceptional ability to maintain confidentiality

- Previous experience in credit analysis and/or financial statement analysis is preferred.
