Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team at SERVPRO. As a Cleaning Technician, you will play a critical role in restoring properties to their pre-loss condition, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform production processes, including cleaning, packing, and other labor-intensive tasks, to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects.
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, setting up staging areas and equipment for each project.
  • Perform different cleaning tasks, such as cleaning rooms, furniture, and contents, to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.
  • Safely and efficiently pack, inventory, and move customer belongings, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer's daily life.
  • Complete job documentation, including photos and notes, to maintain accurate records and facilitate communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times, prioritizing the well-being of customers, colleagues, and the environment.
  • Communicate effectively with restoration supervisors and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
Requirements
  • Effective oral communication and basic math skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • IICRC certifications a plus.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects and work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Compensation

Competitive pay rate starting at $20+/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit.
