Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribers.
  • Approve coverage determination requests based on defined criteria.
  • Enter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM system and notify providers and/or members.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding authorization approvals and PBM on-line applications.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is mandatory (prior authorization experience).
  • Should hold active PTCB and state license in pharmacy as mandatorily.
