Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of engaging programs and activities.
- Coordinate schedules for vendors, field trips, and enrichment activities.
- Prepare and submit monthly lesson plans to the Program Director.
- Provide on-site supervision and support for all program activities.
- Assist in managing licensing documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure proper enrollment processes for children and families.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding program policies and activities.
- Address behavioral and learning challenges with appropriate strategies.
- Ensure the health and safety of participants by adhering to safety protocols.
- Oversee a team of 2-10 program staff, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct performance evaluations and assist in staff recruitment.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage: $21.77; Part-Time, Non-Exempt (up to 25 hours/week).

Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in a child-related field (e.g., early childhood education, elementary education) is required, along with three to five years of relevant experience working with youth. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are advantageous. A passion for working with children aged 5-15 is essential.
Certifications Required
- State of Michigan criminal background clearance.
- Blood Borne Pathogen training.
- CPR and First Aid certifications within the first 60 days.
- AED-Oxygen certification within the first 60 days.
- Fingerprinting and TB Test clearance.
Work Environment
