Job Description

Snap Inc. is seeking an experienced policy leader to helm its Platform Policy team. As Head of Platform Policy, you will be responsible for ensuring that our policies for content and products remain best in class, and ensuring that operational teams have the guidance needed to implement these policies in a way that's consistent, scalable, and equitable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global policies for content and products that meet regulatory requirements and align with Snap's values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Trust and Safety, Product, and Platform Integrity, to ensure that policies are effectively implemented and enforced.
  • Monitor trends related to online content platforms, digital advertising, and technology to identify emerging policy risks and opportunities.
  • Lead research and analysis to inform policy development and ensure that Snap's policies are up-to-date and effective.
  • Work closely with the Public Policy team to gain a strong understanding of the present and forward-looking regulatory landscape and to share strategic perspectives.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in policy, law, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising practices and brand safety issues.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills, including experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work independently and self-start in a fast-paced, multicultural, and rapidly changing environment.

  • A competitive salary range of $244,000-$366,000 annually.
