Flight Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Paramedic to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a Flight Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing advanced life support care to patients in need of medical transportation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care to patients
- Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care records
- Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
- Maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences
- Document required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures
- Knowledgeable in the use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public
- Function as a medical flight member, attending pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings
- Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot assistance as needed
- Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment
- Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed
- Fulfill open or vacant shifts within assigned areas as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required prior to flight status
- Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred, required within 24 months from date of hire
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
- NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area
