About the A2L Program

Aramark's Accelerate to Leadership (A2L) Program is a year-long development and training program designed for recent college graduates. The program offers valuable work experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and professional training across various environments and business areas.

As a participant in the A2L Program, you will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles within Aramark while participating in structured program activities and developmental exercises tailored to your career track.

Job Responsibilities

As a Culinary A2L manager, you will be responsible for learning all culinary operations for the site, including residential dining, retail dining, and catering. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Training and managing kitchen personnel
  • Supervising and coordinating all related culinary activities
  • Estimating food consumption and requisitioning or purchasing food
  • Selecting and developing recipes, as well as standardizing production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • Establishing presentation techniques and quality standards, and planning and pricing menus
  • Ensuring proper equipment operation and maintenance, and ensuring proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Overseeing special catering events and offering culinary instruction and/or demonstrating culinary techniques
Qualifications

To be considered eligible for the A2L Program, applicants must:

  • Graduate between December and August of the current school year for the rising A2L Program class
  • Complete all degree requirements prior to the start date of the program (including any final internship requirements)
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by Aramark for this position now or in the future
Preferred Experience

Aramark prefers candidates with a degree or background in hospitality, customer service, food service, facilities, operations, or sales. Relevant coursework or work experience, strong leadership, project management, and execution skills, great verbal, written, and professional communication skills, and dynamic working skills to handle change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment are also highly valued.
