Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate bindery machines, including folders, booklet makers, saddle stitchers, and other equipment.
  • Follow routine procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of products, identifying and addressing any issues or defects.
  • Record and maintain accurate production data and statistics.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of bindery equipment and surrounding areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bindery or production environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
