Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Visual Impairment Teachers to provide essential support and services to students with visual impairments in schools across Cincinnati, Ohio.
The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of child guidance principles and practices tailored to children with special needs, including visual impairments.
Responsibilities:- Deliver direct and indirect (consult) visual impairment support to students.
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and re-evaluation support for students with visual impairments as needed.
- Offer instructional assistance to students in various academic subjects.
- Conduct instruction in expanded core curriculum areas such as daily living skills and community-based learning.
- Actively participate in the development, facilitation, and execution of Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for students with visual impairments.
- Perform other duties assigned by school administration.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ohio certification for teachers of students with visual impairments
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school setting
