Job Title: Power Electronic Maintainer (Provisional)

MTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Power Electronic Maintainer (Provisional) to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, testing, and repairing the electronic automated monitoring and control equipment of our power system.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, inspect, test, and repair electronic automated monitoring and control equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, test, and operate solid state computerized supervisory control systems, relays, meters, test instruments, analog and digital circuit boards, modems, and related low and high-voltage equipment
  • Diagnose operating defects in power conversion equipment
  • Record data, keep records, and prepare reports
  • Perform related work
Requirements:
  • A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent, plus four years of full-time satisfactory experience as an electronic technician
  • Two years of full-time satisfactory experience as described above, plus graduation from an approved trade, technical, or vocational high school with a major course of study in electronics, electricity, telecommunications, or electromechanics
  • Two years of full-time satisfactory experience as described above, plus an associate degree from an accredited college or an equivalent accredited technical institution with a major course of study in electricity, telecommunications, or electromechanics
  • One and one-half years of full-time satisfactory experience as described above, plus an associate degree from an accredited college or an equivalent accredited technical institution with a major course of study in electronics
  • One year of full-time satisfactory experience as described above, plus a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or an equivalent accredited technical institution with a major course of study in electronics, electricity, telecommunications, or electromechanics
Working Conditions:

Power Electronic Maintainers may be required to work various shifts, including nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Selection Method:

Candidates may be asked to participate in one or more of the following: an education and experience test, a written assessment, a practical skills assessment, and/or a structured interview.

Training Requirement:

You may be required to undergo a formalized training course during your probationary period. Failure to successfully complete the training course may result in termination.
