Pipefitter & Welder

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter & Welder to join our team at Large HVAC Contractor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Foreman to complete piping tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Use technical drawings and diagrams to complete tasks.
• Assist with coordination of pre-fabrication layout and installation.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and county codes.
• Assist with rigging of material.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and Southeast Safety Program.
• Assist in maintaining rental and company-owned welding equipment.
• Layout work ahead of welders and prepare pipe and fittings for welding.
• Work alongside welders to hold and position pipe/fittings to be welded.
• Assist welders with screens to protect others from flash burns.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pipefitting and welding.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license and access to transportation.
