Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse

InGenesis is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide and ensure nursing care to residents on the nursing unit, adhering to medical and nursing care plans, department policies, and professional supervision.
- Monitor residents closely to identify responses to treatments, medication, and changes in health status, providing treatments according to medical and nursing care plans and department policies.
- Prepare and dispense medication to residents according to medical plans of care and department policies.
- Assist with residents' activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes, and supervision of non-professional staff.
- Document daily in residents' progress notes all pertinent data, information, and observations, and assist with weekly, monthly, and annual documentation descriptive of resident status and care.
- Communicate immediately all changes and/or incidents to immediate supervisors and complete required documentation.
- Maintain policies and procedures relevant to medications, including management of controlled substances.
- Communicate pertinent information and changes impacting resident care to supervisors, nursing staff, and other departments and disciplines.
- Listen and respond appropriately to concerns or issues expressed by residents and families.
- Ensure and provide direct care to residents that is consistent with comprehensive assessments, requests of residents, and goals of plans of care.
- Work closely with other professional and disciplines to ensure timely and coordinated care.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Program of the Department and serve on committees pertinent to the quality of care of residents.
- Participate in the orientation of new employees to the nursing unit and the clinical in-service of non-professional staff.
- LPN/LVN state license
- Pay rate range commensurate on experience
