Licensed Vocational Nurse PRN

Elwyn is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in residential group homes. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related behavioral health challenges.
Job Summary:The LVN will perform general nursing procedures, behavior management, direct care, and training as dictated by the individuals' health and behavioral care needs. This role requires a strong commitment to providing person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Perform nursing procedures as authorized within the scope of practice.
- Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and contribute to the development of the Individual Support Plan.
- Function as lead staff on the shift and oversee DSPs and/or CNAs.
- Provide active programming at all times.
- Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and schedules established by their supervisor.
- Report any suspicion of or knowledge of suspected abuse in accordance with the law and program policies.
- Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving history.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Possess and maintain a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
- Minimum 1 year experience with Human Services field preferred.
