The core responsibility of this role involves conducting initial assessments and providing ongoing therapy sessions for individuals, groups, couples, and families. Therapists will also manage essential administrative tasks related to client scheduling, documentation, and overall care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting initial assessments and delivering ongoing therapy sessions for individuals, groups, couples, and families
  • Coordinating client schedules, including new referrals for initial assessments
  • Documenting progress notes on the same day services are rendered
  • Participating in weekly supervision meetings with the Clinical Director
  • Reporting on critical issues such as self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and recommendations for higher levels of care to the Clinical Director
  • Completing additional tasks related to billable hours
  • Performing other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • One or more of the following credentials: MSW, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, Psy. D
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a counseling, therapy, social work, or similar mental health role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail), with the ability to learn new software such as Theranest
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels and within the community
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and the capability to manage a dynamic workload
