Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PMHNP to work in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong preference for treating patients of all ages, from teens to geriatric, and will be comfortable managing patients with dual-diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions
- Collaborate with a supportive and collegial team of healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in psychiatric nursing
Requirements
- Current licensure as a PMHNP in Connecticut (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with patients with mental health conditions, particularly those with dual-diagnosis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
