Job Summary
As a Structural Engineering Specialist at Powder River Development Services, LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity of our wireless communication projects. We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the wireless industry.

About the Role
This is a fully remote position that requires minimal field verification or collection of data. You will be responsible for performing structural and mount analysis and design for existing building structures, non-building structures, and non-structural equipment and their respective anchorage and foundation elements.

Responsibilities
* Performs structural and mount analysis and design for existing building structures, non-building structures, and non-structural equipment and their respective anchorage and foundation elements.
* Coordinates structural design requirements with A&E Project Managers, Drafters, Senior Engineers, Clients, Building Officials, Contractors, and other Consultants.
* Prepares engineering reports and documents communicating engineering results (to include drafter coordination/review).
* Performs quality assurance reviews of structural calculations and drawings.
* Executes structural observation of installed structural elements in the field.
* Assists with construction administration activities to include field surveys, and shop drawing or RFI coordination.
* Provides mentorship and facilitates the professional development of junior engineering staff.
* Coordinates with building officials and other jurisdictional entities by demonstrating code compliance for the purpose of obtaining all required building permits and governmental approvals.
* Participates in project task identification and scoping coordination with A&E Project Managers.
* May assume responsibilities as engineer of record for projects and provide sealed documents and all required direction for scope of work.
* Management of Design Team (lead and direct subordinate engineering staff and/or drafters).
