- Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in crisis, utilizing de-escalation techniques and crisis interventions to help them manage their situation.
- Resource Connection: Connect individuals with community resources, services, and support systems to ensure they receive the help they need.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all interactions and interventions, providing detailed reports to support ongoing care and services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members, community agencies, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of care and services.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two years of full-time paid professional experience in a human service, social service, mental health, or behavioral health setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with individuals in crisis, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
