Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a residential care facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care services
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements

  • Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Compassion and empathy for patients and their families

Working Conditions

Working overtime may be a requirement of this position. Employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

Successful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.
