Intensive Care Unit ICU Staff Nurse RN Night Shift

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care to outpatient and inpatient populations. The ideal candidate will have prior Critical Care experience and be proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care to patients undergoing various interventional radiology procedures, including electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant information to the healthcare team.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting.
- Strongly prefer prior Critical Care experience: PACU, ICU or ED.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months).
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
