Job Summary

Oklahoma State University is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Computer Program Analyst to join our Facilities Management Business Operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support software applications using Python, Arcade, HTML, XML, C#, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and other web-based tools.
  • Utilize SQL servers, including writing SQL and Python queries and scripts, to manage relational database management systems and develop integration pieces.
  • Provide server maintenance and support for applications, certificate (SSL) installation and upgrades, and firewall support as needed.
  • Perform independent project management and serve as lead contact for the Assistant Director, FM Projects, for development performed for the Facilities Management Business Systems GIS portion.
  • Apply and learn SSL certificates to servers and manage a development and production system.
  • Ensure backups are running and review space on server for excess logs as needed.
  • Provide monitoring of database size to allow for optimization and perform lead duties of familiarizing new employees with current practices.
  • Provide recommendations for implementing new systems and support the department with new improvement recommendations.
  • Provide customer support as needed.
Requirements
  • Work schedule is flexible to meet departmental operational needs.
  • May be required to work overtime after 5 p.m. and/or during nonbusiness hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and when the University is closed.
  • Must maintain a personal cell phone and be continually available during and after normal working hours.
  • Will work with a keyboard and mouse and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
