We are seeking an experienced Master Structural Welder to join our team in Ottawa, KS. As a key member of our fabrication and construction unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality welds on large-scale structural projects.

Job Summary:

">
  • Weld in all positions (ground level, above ground, below ground) using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS and AISC standards for precise heat tolerances.
  • Prepare materials by grinding, chipping, gouging, or scarfing as required.
  • Operate cranes and other tools to transport materials safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate PPE.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in welding techniques (FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, SAW).
  • At least 12 months of stable work history in structural welding.
  • Able to interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings accurately.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must pass weld tests in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards.
