Job Title: Computer Network Architect

Concurrent Technologies Corporation is seeking a skilled Computer Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering division, you will design, deploy, test, support, and maintain network infrastructure to meet the needs of our diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architecture to meet business requirements
  • Research and develop new technologies to improve network performance and security
  • Schedule and perform maintenance, upgrades, and migrations of production networks
  • Collaborate with systems administrators and IT operations staff to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems
  • Support network and cybersecurity solutions to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture and operational procedures
  • Monitor infrastructure and network applications for uptime and resource utilization, identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing changes to improve performance
  • Improve network system operational efficiency through automation and process improvements
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline with 4-6 years of related experience or a Master of Science degree with 2-4 years of experience
  • Experience deploying, configuring, monitoring, and managing Cisco routers & switches, Identify Services Engine (ISE), Call Manager, in a hybrid Azure/Office 365 cloud environment
  • Experience with LAN and WAN design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Internet network protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP/UDP, VOIP, BGP)
  • Strong understanding of computer security and associated threats
  • Experience with network baseline development and deployment
  • Experience working with cloud-based network infrastructures (AWS & Azure)
  • Excellent hands-on experience with and knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration
