Job Title: Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Strategist to join our team at InfoGov. As a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect our clients' sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a senior cybersecurity role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices. You will be able to identify and mitigate potential threats, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, and provide strategic guidance to clients on compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.

This is a fully independent contractor role, offering flexibility and autonomy. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team of professionals, access training and resources, and earn commissions on sales of training, solutions, or services offered by InfoGov and our strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards
  • Lead incident response efforts

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior cybersecurity role
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA are preferred but not required

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
