We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our high-volume retail store in Groton. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maximizing store profitability, ensuring excellent customer service, and developing a highly effective team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Team Development: Select, train, and develop a highly effective team of associates, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a pleasant shopping experience, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the store team, setting clear goals and expectations and holding team members accountable for their performance.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in retail management, with experience in leading high-volume stores and developing effective teams.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Availability: Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, with reliable transportation.
