Medical Laboratory Specialist

About the Medical Laboratory Specialist role at Global Channel Management:
Key Responsibilities:
- Document results clearly and accurately, interpreting results by comparing them against appropriate specification requirements.
- Maintain work areas and equipment, ensuring calibration and maintenance of equipment is performed at designated intervals.
- Adhere to departmental safety requirements and conduct self-inspections of workstations and offices for hazardous conditions.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field of study.
- 1st shift position with flexibility to work some weekends and overtime as required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience within a cGMP environment.
- Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, ISO, and cGMP guidelines and regulations is preferred.
- Manual dexterity to handle instruments, complete repetitive motions, and stand for long periods of time is required.
- Diligent use of PPEs to limit exposure to bloodborne pathogens is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
