About the Role

The Quantitative Risk Associate Director will be a critical member of our Model Risk Management team, responsible for performing hands-on validations and reviews of our organization's model inventory. You will work closely with model owners and developers to ensure that our models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on validations and reviews of model inventory
  • Collaborate with model owners and developers to resolve issues and improve model performance
  • Develop and maintain model validation procedures and standards
  • Present findings and recommendations to the Model Risk Governance Council
Requirements
  • PhD or master's degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, economics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial risk model validation, risk analytics, or quantitative modeling
  • Strong mathematical background and expertise in probability theory, stochastic processes, and PDE's
  • Experience with VaR modeling and back testing methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
