Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Part-time Dental Assistant III to join our team at our Seattle Dental Clinic. As a Dental Assistant III, you will assist the dental provider in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the dental provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery procedures.
- Perform tasks such as duplicating and mounting radiographs, placing temporary restorations, taking impressions, pouring and trimming models, and giving fluoride treatments.
- Maintain proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, and inventory of dental supplies.
- Assist in training new Dental Assistants and organize schedules to generate checklists for maintenance of dental procedures.
- Valid Washington State Dental Assistant certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hiring and maintain throughout employment.
- 2 years of working experience in a dental setting.
- Dental record experience and familiarity with the utilization of computers and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
