MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist, Medical Sonographer, or Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
