Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality care to patients and adhere to regulatory standards, including JCAHO, Department of Health, and CAP.
  • Assume all patient/customer respiratory responsibilities and understand and follow the organization's policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform all age-specific respiratory therapies and participate in the department's performance improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of Performance Indicators and ensure exceeding results.
Credentials
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
  • Certified or Registered status in accordance with requirements of National Board for Respiratory Care. Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Required) required within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required) required within 6 months of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) required within 6 months of hire
Education or Equivalent Experience
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
