GED Instructor

Boise State University is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated GED Instructor to join our High School Equivalency Program (HEP) team. As a GED Instructor, you will play a critical role in providing academic support and guidance to students who are working towards obtaining their General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

The GED Instructor will be responsible for delivering instruction in English and Spanish to HEP students, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to pass their GED exams. You will also be responsible for maintaining a classroom environment conducive to student learning, tracking student attendance, and collaborating with HEP staff to develop curriculum and instructional materials.

• Deliver instruction in English and Spanish to HEP students
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Track student attendance and progress
• Collaborate with HEP staff to develop curriculum and instructional materials
• Assist students in scheduling official tests
• Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and other activities as requested

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
• Bilingual - Spanish/English (read, write, speak)
• Possess a valid driver's license

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Two years classroom experience
• Previous experience in Adult Education
