Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Financial Services Specialist to join our team at Radiology Regional. As a key member of our patient financial services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient eligibility for benefits and obtain prior authorizations for medical procedures
  • Provide Good Faith time-of-service estimations to patients, detailing the cost associated with their procedures
  • Coordinate information from patients, office staff, clinical staff, and physicians to complete the verification/prior authorization process
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Engage in financial conversations with patients, explaining procedure details, benefits, and estimated out-of-pocket expenses
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum six-months experience in medical and/or eligibility, authorizations
  • Computer and phone experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
