Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Next Generation Threat Simulator Engineer to support a DARPA Research, Development, Test & Evaluation initiative for Coalition partners and the United States.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Modeling & Simulation, with experience in developing and integrating C2 (command and control) capability in the DARPA Experimentation Node (DEN). Additionally, the candidate will have expertise in conducting warfighting experimentation events leveraging M&S environments to identify and share operationally relevant insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate C2 capability in the DARPA Experimentation Node (DEN)
  • Conduct warfighting experimentation events leveraging M&S environments
  • Generate, test, and debug Blue/Red force entity Behavior Models and Weapons Models using the Next Generation Threat Simulator (NGTS)
  • Generate, test, and debug new and existing DE2 Scenarios within NGTS
  • Coordinate with VFDE OPs Team to ensure operational relevance and realism of generated Behavior/Weapons Models and DE2 Scenarios
  • Maintain working knowledge of all DE2 Toolboxes and comprising applications
  • Operate DE2 M&S Tools including AST, STK, SPYSE, TSPAR, and SIGMA
  • Operate VFDE-developed Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) applications enabling interaction with generated DE2 scenarios

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Modeling & Simulation or related experience
  • Experience with Next Generation Threat Simulator or related simulation software
  • Experience with Red/Blue wargame scenarios design

Benefits:

  • Pay range: $185,000 - $210,000
