Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services, while ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide empathetic pharmacy consulting services to patients, including medication counseling and education.
• Manage the pharmacy workflow, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
• Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote health and wellness services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy performance and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and pharmacy operations.
