Job Summary

This position will be responsible for conducting research activities and coordinating administrative tasks in support of study research. The research coordinator will work closely with research staff, programmatic staff, and healthcare staff to ensure the successful completion of research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and manage participants for research studies
  • Conduct baseline and follow-up assessments in the hospital and community settings
  • Develop and implement participant retention strategies
  • Collect and enter data, and maintain databases
  • Assist with grant preparation, submission, and management
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for research team members
  • Prepare and manage regulatory documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
  • Experience working with youth and caregivers
  • Experience preparing reports and presenting scientific findings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Working Conditions

This position requires working in rotation on weekends and some evenings. The candidate should be comfortable working independently in the hospital setting, specifically in the emergency department and surgical trauma intensive care unit (STICU) with youth victims of violence and their caregivers.
