About the Role

Metro Dentalcare in Osseo, MN is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join their team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Metro Dentalcare Osseo is a unique office that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. The 17-person team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences.

Key Highlights:

  • $2000 Sign-on bonus for licensed dental assistants.
  • $30-34/hour.
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (with occasional Saturday shifts).
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
