Position Overview
As a Campus Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of academic and administrative facilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections of buildings and grounds, addressing safety and maintenance concerns, and supporting emergency response efforts in collaboration with local authorities.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Regular Inspections**: Conduct routine patrols of assigned buildings, which may involve extensive walking and climbing stairs under various conditions. Ensure that all facilities are secure by checking locks, windows, and gates according to established schedules.

2. **Safety Management**: Identify and report hazards, safety issues, and property damage. Respond to alarms and take appropriate action to mitigate risks, including reporting suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.

3. **Emergency Response**: Act swiftly in emergency situations to provide access to buildings and assist with evacuations as necessary. Maintain perimeter control and ensure safety during critical incidents.

4. **Documentation**: Complete and submit detailed activity logs, maintenance reports, and timesheets in a timely manner. Record incidents accurately to ensure proper follow-up and resolution.

5. **Training and Development**: Stay informed about safety regulations and departmental policies. Participate in training sessions and assist in onboarding new personnel as required.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
