Job Summary:
TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals to interpret.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
- Administer contrast media and other medications as required for imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field
- 1+ year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
