Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, utilizing proper patient position, identification, and exposure techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, adhering to quality control procedures and reporting any malfunctions or needed adjustments.
  • Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to perform procedures effectively.
  • Collaborate with physicians to perform various procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification as a Certified Radiology Technologist within 24 months from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
