Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic examinations using sonography and delivering high-quality, cost-effective imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information, and images
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information, and medical history, and communicate impressions to the radiologist
  • Seek out new information and technologies to improve job performance
  • Communicate openly, honestly, directly, and clearly
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Certified Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification
