Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Development and Communications Coordinator, working closely with our Executive Director and staff to develop and implement public relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local media outlets, securing regular coverage in multiple markets
  • Track and report media relations efforts, including recording and evaluating coverage
  • Plan and execute special events, including selecting venues and vendors, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics
  • Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with an emphasis in education, psychology, social services, or a related field
  • Four years' experience working directly with developmental disabilities, with two years of increasingly responsible administrative or supervisory experience
  • CCL Administrator Certificate holder highly preferred
