About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at The LiRo Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and details
  • Approve mechanical submittals and assist in RFI responses during construction administration
  • Use engineering and design computer software, such as Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Professional Engineering required
  • Intimate knowledge of New York Building Codes
  • Strong communication and project leadership skills
  • Experience with engineering and design computer software
