Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our survey department by processing field data, preparing cutsheets, and maintaining company CAD drafting standards.

About the Role

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Herndon, Virginia and some days remote. You will work in a family-feel, open office environment with a collaborative team where everyone is under an open-door policy and there to help.

Responsibilities

  • Process field data for production of plats and plans
  • Prepare cutsheets supporting construction stakeout
  • Perform deed, plat, and record drawing research
  • Prepare boundary composite maps and property descriptions
  • Process 3-D point cloud to create surfaces and contours
  • Maintain company CAD drafting standards
  • Prepare and format ALTA survey documents
