Job Opportunity: Survey CAD Technician

Actalent is seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will work collaboratively with our survey team to process field data, create plats and plans, and prepare cutsheets for construction stakeout. You will also conduct research on deeds, plats, and record drawings, and develop boundary composite maps and property descriptions. Additionally, you will convert 3-D point clouds into surfaces and contours, and follow company CAD drafting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with GPS surveying equipment and digital data collectors, and be proficient in CAD systems. Responsibilities
  • Process field data to create plats and plans
  • Prepare cutsheets for construction stakeout
  • Conduct research on deeds, plats, and record drawings
  • Develop boundary composite maps and property descriptions
  • Convert 3-D point clouds into surfaces and contours
  • Follow company CAD drafting standards
  • Create existing conditions plans and exhibits
  • Format and prepare ALTA survey documents
  • Draft easement plats and descriptions
  • Produce As-Built drawings
