Job Summary

The City of Laguna Beach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Services Officer/Accident Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our law enforcement department, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and ordinances related to parking, investigating traffic collisions, and providing excellent customer service to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to enforce parking laws and ordinances
  • Investigate traffic collisions and take accident reports
  • Assist with traffic control and provide emergency services as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with the public
  • Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies and city departments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in criminal justice or a related field preferred
  • Two years of experience in law enforcement with one year of strong public contact work experience required
  • Valid California Driver's license and an acceptable driving record required
  • POST PC 832 Certificate required prior to the passing of the probationary period
