Job OverviewPosition Summary

The CNC Machinist is responsible for programming and operating a variety of machines to produce aerospace components, parts, and tools. This role requires a high level of expertise and is not suitable for entry-level candidates.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Program and operate a diverse range of CNC machinery, including both manual and computer-controlled equipment.
  • Utilize machines such as Mazak 5-axis, Hurco 3-axis with 4th axis rotary table vertical mills, Haas 3-axis vertical mills, Cincinnati FTV vertical mills, Fryer 3-axis with 4th axis rotary table vertical mills, Fryer CNC lathes, Bridgeport mills, and various grinders.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, operating on a first-shift schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Overtime as required
  • No night or weekend shifts
Essential Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Master Cam Programming.
  • Experience with CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation.
  • Ability to conduct quality checks on CNC Mills and Lathes.
  • Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Possession of personal tools is required.
  • Previous experience in a machine shop environment is essential.
  • Must pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment test and adhere to random testing protocols throughout employment.
Preferred Skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with manual machine setup and operation.
